Immersive Frida Kahlo Exhibit is next in line to follow the success of Immersive Van Gogh, and Immersive Klimt. Lighthouse Immersive brings Mexican artist Frida Kahlo work to life in a beautiful and eye-opening way.
Kahlo’s art has been described as magic realism and the exhibit features some of her most famous works such as The Two Fridas, Wounded Deer, and Diego and I. Composer Luca Longobardi created a resonant score to accompany the animated projections of Kahlo’s work.
New this exhibit, there will be a Barre Flow and Yoga Flow class every Friday and Saturday for $54.99. Barre Flow is a slow burn style with isometric holds that allows participants to find a deep burn in the muscles they are activating during that hold. While Yoga Flow focuses on lengthening, strengthening, relaxing at the same time as energizing and allowing the breath to guide you through a flow of art. The classes are instructed by professional dancer and certified trainer Amy Walsh.
The immersive Frida Kahlo Exhibit will take place once again at 1 Yonge Street will open in Toronto on March 31 through to the end of May.
