Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made his big return to Toronto for Black Adam
Toronto was in a real treat last night. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Warner Bros took the city by a storm for DC Comic’s upcoming release, Black Adam which is set to hit theatres next week. Cineplex’s The Rec Room invited 900+ fans and media to promote the upcoming film with Dwayne Johnson himself and producer Hiram Garcia to give fans a sneak peek of Black Adam. The event Black Adam Rocks Canada was sponsored by Audi, Rogers Sports and Media and Cineplex.
The Black Adam fan event included free food sponsored by the Rec Room, swag bags, Black Adam inspired photo ops, and some amazing prizes. Two fans won a free trip to Hollywood to visit Warner Bros’ Studio, and some fans won Toronto Raptors Tickets and stays at the Fairmont Royal York and Shangri La, CineClub Memberships and one year supply of ZOA.
Dwayne Johnson took the stage about 6pm and spoke on how much he missed being in Toronto and on how excited he was to bring Black Adam to Canada. He even grabbed a fan who had a tattoo of a quote and even took a fans phone and took a group selfie.
The event concluded with an epic Black Adam march of everyone marching over to the Scotiabank theatre to watch the advanced screening of Black Adam. The review will be posted next week and we can’t wait for everyone’s reaction.
