CMW Kick off party w/ Shawn Desman, Virginia to Vegas, Alyssa Reid & Noelle by iHeartRadio
Canadian Music Week (CMW) and iHeartRadio came together for an unforgettable evening at the newly renovated El Mocambo on June 7th, setting the stage for the CMW Kickoff Party. The event featured a stellar lineup including Shawn Desman, Virginia to Vegas, Alyssa Reid, and Noelle, taking us on a nostalgic journey with some of Canada’s biggest artists from the past.
The night commenced with the mesmerizing performance of Noelle, a rising pop talent with a modern R&B edge. At just 22 years old, she captivated the audience with her Spotify singles “Forever Yours,” “Daydreaming,” and her latest release, “Never Leaving Home.” Noelle’s thought-provoking lyrics accompanied by captivating melodies evoked a deep emotional connection, reminding us of the experiences and emotions faced by young women today.
Next up was Alyssa Reid, known for her hit single “Alone Again.” She delighted the crowd by performing her other popular tracks, including “Satisfaction Guaranteed.” To add to the excitement, she brought Virginia to Vegas on stage for a captivating rendition of their collaborative hit, “We Are Stars.” With each song, Reid transported the audience back in time, invoking a sense of nostalgia and fond memories.
Speaking of Virginia to Vegas, the artist took the stage to a wave of enthusiasm from the crowd. The atmosphere was electric as Desman, dressed in a sleek pink blazer, ignited the crowd with his opening number, “Let’s Go.” With his signature dance moves and infectious energy, Desman transported everyone back in time, reliving his hits such as “Nobody Does it Like You,” “Maniac,” “Night Like This,” “Electric,” and the timeless classic, “Shook.” To the delight of the audience, Desman hinted at his return to the music scene with new singles in the pipeline.
