Canada’s Baking and Sweets Show

 On September 26 to 28th, we had the chance to experience the Canada’s Baking and Sweets show presented by Red Path. Who doesn’t love sweets and baking?? This year, the theme was based on “The Wizard of Oz.” There was a cake competition based on the theme, and we were fairly impressed by the entries and all the hard work put in by the bakers.

Throughout the weekend, there were a variety of shows that guests could watch for free. We briefly checked out the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (M.O.F.) show,Cake Prince presented by Virgin Ice and there was even a family fun zone for children under 12.

On top of that, there was a hardware section where guests could buy discounted baking equipment. Most of the vendors offered samples and discounted food as well.

La Casa Dolce Bakery had some of the most impressive cakes we’ve ever seen. From an IPhone Cake, to a social media cake and even Olaf from Disney’s “Frozen.”

We had an amazing time, and we hope to experience it all again next year!
