The night belonged to Brian Cox, who walked the red carpet for his directorial debut, Glenrothan. The cast brought a mix of excitement and warmth to the carpet — Alexandra Shipp called the film “wild,” while Alexandra Wilkie described it as “cultural,” hinting at the film’s emotional and grounded storytelling.

Friday’s energy turned playful with the Drivers Ed cast hitting the carpet and answering one of our favorite questions: If you could steal a driver’s ed car, what would it be?
  • Finn Harry: “A Rolls Royce with a driver’s ed sign.”
  • Clayton Farris: “A classic Ford Mustang convertible. Top down, cruising the 101.”
  • Aidan Laprete: “A Rivian.”

How the cast would describe the film:

Later that evening, the New Year’s Rev carpet lit up with a family moment as Mark Ruffalo showed up to support his son Keen Ruffalo, who stars in the film. The whole cast was there to celebrate, minus Mason Thames, who had slipped out earlier in the week.

TIFF 2025 Is done!

As one of the last nights of TIFF came to a close, it felt bittersweet from the city glowing from a week of red carpets and premieres. We’re sad to see the festival end, but already looking forward to what stories next year will bring.
