The 2015 Canadian Screen Awards

IMG_6223The 2015 Canadian Screen Awards took place on Sunday, March 1 at a new venue, the Four Seasons Performing Arts Centre. Hosted by comedian Andrea Martin and broadcast on the CBC, the week long festivities concluded with a special night honouring the best in Canadian film and television.

Critically acclaimed film Mommy took home nine awards including Best Motion Picture. Another major award winner that night was Orphan Black, which took home 10 awards including Best Dramatic
Series and Tatiana Maslany for Best Actress (both wins which are a repeat of last year).

The viewers went up by 10,000 from last year, and each year the CSA’s continue to grow bigger. We’re hoping next year, it’ll be even bigger!
