Ripley’s Aquarium Toronto
We finally had a chance to check out the famous Ripley’s Aquarium located here in Toronto. One of the main tourist attractions located beside the well known CN Tower and was first opened to the public on October 16, 2013.
It is the largest indoor Aquarium in Canada, with over 16,000 marine animals and 5.7 million liters of water. With over 10 different galleries, visitors had a chance to see some of the rarest species known from all around the world. Each showcase had a fun and interactive fact sheet that families can look at and take pictures with some of the mammals.
The Aquarium also includes six-play zones for children including Ripley’s explorer research submarine. The play zone includes a horseshoe crab touch pool where guests can physically touch the mammal in the tank. There is also a Ripley’s Cafe and a Cargo gift shop where guests can take a piece of the aquarium home with them.
