MAGIC! leads the JUNO Awards 2015 with five nominations

The biggest nominations in Canadian music were announced this morning at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Canadian media, artists and music enthusiasts were invited to an exclusive presentation of the newest JUNO nominations along with a surprise guest performance by nominee, The Arkells.

MAGIC! lead the pack with five nominations including Pop Album of the Year for their debut LP, Don’t Kill the Magic! Close behind with four nominations were Leonard Cohen and newcomer Kiesza.

The JUNO Awards airs live from First Ontario Centre on CTV and CTV GO on Sunday, March 15, 7 p.m. EDT. The JUNOs return to Hamilton for the first time in 14 years. Having Hamilton-natives, The Arkells, perform at the press conference was a perfect choice.
