London Brown chats season 4 of HBO Ballers
HBO’s hit series “Ballers” is back for its fourth season, and we had the chance to chat with Actor/Comedian London Brown who stars as “Fat Reggie”/ London who has been regarded as one of the top comedians in L.A. chats with The Extra Mile about the new season, what we can expect of Reggie, and how he goes the Extra Mile. Read the interview below!
What can we expect of the new season?
You can expect changes to the storyline. The character that I play, Reggie, is not as so annoying as he was in season 1. I think people are getting sick of Reggie, You can expect Reggie to be making smarter and better decisions and the best interests of his best friend, and not so much the best interest of for himself.
Do you think Reggie’s changed a lot from season 1?
I think the changes have been progressive. I think in Season 1, Reggie’s heart has always been in a good place. He’s a protective boy and he didn’t necessarily know how to go about doing it the politically correct way. By season 4 we see Reggie’s approach, protecting his friends, it’s a little more savy and mature.
Do you and Reggie relate in any way?
I think that Reggie and I relate in the sense of I love the dedication to our friends and protecting them. We both like to have a good time, however, Reggie’s way is just a little over the top, and a little young and flashy. I was definitely not those things. Reggie is about 24, at 24 I think people are all a little different than what we are now.
If you weren’t acting or doing comedy, what would you be doing?
I will probably be a physiologist. I enjoy studying not what to do, but why they do it. That’s fascinating to me, where people’s hearts are or where their mind is when they decide to go about life. I do this anyways with people, without being in physiology. I like breaking people down. I like finding out who’s comfortable around me, if you’re comfortable with yourself, you’ll be comfortable around me.
How do you go The Extra Mile?
I go the extra mile before I was even on screen. I make sure I go the Extra Mile by trying to be very kind if I can. Studying in classes would be another, third would be hitting the gym.
Any last words for your fans?
The only thing I want to say to them is just to encourage people to find their passion and go after it. Because once you find your gift, your life changes the way you view life, the way you go about it , the energy about it, all that stuff changes for the better. You’re a happier person, Once you do the thing that you’re suppose to do. And also that I appreciate and always helps me along the way are the clubs who book me, the casting directors, my followers, my family, my team and I appreciate people . I understand that I didn’t get here because I wished to get here. Hard work is coming around.
