Getting cozy with Karyzma at TIFF

Thousands flocked to King Street last weekend to catch a glimpse of their favourite actors and celebrities. There were parties, gifting lounges and a whole lot of networking. The annual Karyzma Agency’s TIFF Lounge engaged social media influencers and film industry members to network in a relaxed environment.

Tucked in at SETonKing, invitees were able to receive manicures, cake pops, free beer (courtesy of SteamWhistle) and a gift bag full of goodies including Marley headphones.

Segways and scooters without handlebars are becoming more popular around the world. Montreal-based startup e-Boardz let invitees try their new products in this category first hand. It looks harder to use than you think, but it was neat way to engage their crowd to try out some new tech.

Vendors set up shop here. Guests were offered to have their nails done by LISA while professional vegan make up line Caked Cosmetics also housed themselves at the Lounge.

While live music played the entire time, it was still a relaxing and chill place to get away from all the hustle and bustle on King Street during the Film Festival. The Lounge was set in a pretty hidden spot on King Street, but this gave it that exclusive and VIPs-only vibe that I’m sure we all love to feel during these Festivals.
