CBC Toronto releases “From the 6ix” music video from Britney Davis

CBC Toronto News announced they will be releasing a public-facing series called 6ix in the 6ix starting early April.

CBC Toronto issued a challenge to GTA musicians to write an original song about Toronto, or “The 6ix”. Over hundreds entered, and after a public vote, 12 musicians made the shortlist. A CBC judging panel crowded Britney Davis the winner for her track, “From the 6ix.” Davis won $10,000, a professional recording and CBC-produced music video.

On Monday, March 28, 2016 the music video has been released to the public and is now featured on all platforms.
