#CanadianMusicWeek Presents CRUISR

CRUISR

On May 6, at The Garrison, CRUISR took the stage around 10:30 pm. As soon as they got on stage they launched straight into “Don’t Go Alone”. After about two or three songs into the set Andy States (Lead Vocals) invited everyone to come in closer to the stage. Not only did this bring the crowd closer but from the looks of it, it amped up the crowd.

CRUISR played a mixture of both new and old songs from both their self titled EP, as well as from their newly released EP Go For It. Midway through their set the played fan favourite and hit single “All Over.”

Throughout CRUISR’s performance they interacted with the crowd and each other quite well. The chemistry of the band members seemed to have translated well to those in the audience. With that being said, for the remainder of CRUISR’s set, almost, if not everyone, was moving and dancing along to every song. CRUISR thanked the crowd for coming out to watch them then closed out the set with “Kidnap Me.

After the set was over, members of the band took the time to meet every fan that wanted to meet them. Leaving with signed merchandise, pictures on their phones and smiles on their faces; everyone who attended the show could agree this was an intimate show.
