Move over Lorde, someone has got a run for your money. Birdy has been around for a while, at a mere 17 years old, yet just recently she has received much exposure after her cover of “Skinny Love“. Yes, you’ve heard it. If you haven’t, someone must have told you about it (which means we have, so have a listen)

Birdy, real name Jasmine van den Bogaerde, was in Toronto opening for Christina Perri’s Head or Heart tour. We had the chance to see her and snap some photos. Being huge fans, we were so excited and thrilled that she is featured in The Fault In Our Stars Original Soundtrack. In the pouring rain, she was ever so sweet to stop and say hello to us, despite the cruel weather.

She was super friendly and even asked if we were attending the show. She made sure to say hi to all the fans who were waiting for her and she was smiles all around and told us she loves Toronto!
