A beautiful night out with Music Under the City Stars, presented by Canada’s Walk of Fame,

On Wednesday, Aug 2, we were in for a magical night with Music Under the City Stars, presented by Canada’s Walk of Fame, Walter and Maria Schneider, Jeffrey Latimer Entertainment and Liberty Entertainment Group. The night consisted of Canada’s most talented singer-songwriters gathering together at the majestic castle in the city, Casa Loma for an evening of fundraising and performances. Some of the guests included Corey Hart, Alan Frew, Nikki Yanofsky, Kayla Diamond, Ron Sexsmith and more.

The evening kicked off with a spectacular red carpet reception where we had a brief chat with singer- songwriter Nikki Yanofsky.  She tells us the how important it is to be out here at the event for Canada’s 150th .Canada’s Walk of Fame has always been good to the 23 year old singer and she wanted to return the favour by being a part of this event. Yanofsky says the best part about being Canadian are the people and how accepting Canadians are. Yanofsky is currently working on new material and she tells us she goes The Xtra Mile by putting in all the hours and working really hard towards her new music. 

The night proceeded with a medley performance by host Sean Cullen. The annual gala raised over $350,000 and it was an unforgettable night of celebrations and performances recognizing the best in Canadian talent.
